This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the RepQR Terms of Service and applies to everything you do with the platform — pages you publish, content you generate, products you print, and campaigns you send. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, generate, publish, print, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other right;
- Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or threatening;
- Is sexually explicit or exploits or endangers minors in any way;
- Is deceptive — including false advertising, fake reviews or testimonials, phishing, or scam offers;
- Impersonates any person or organization, or uses a voice or likeness without the consent required by the Terms;
- Contains malware or attempts to collect credentials or sensitive data under false pretenses.
2. Prohibited Uses of the Platform
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the platform, or bypassing authentication or usage limits;
- Interfering with the platform or other customers’ use of it (including excessive automated traffic);
- Scraping the platform or other customers’ pages;
- Reselling or white-labeling the platform without a written agreement with us;
- Using the platform to operate businesses in categories prohibited by our payment or messaging providers (for example, illegal products, or deceptive financial schemes).
3. QR Codes & Links
- QR codes and short links created through the platform may only point to destinations you control or are authorized to promote.
- They may not be used to redirect to phishing, malware, or deceptive destinations, or be placed in a way that misleads people about where they lead.
4. Email, SMS & Outreach Campaigns
You are the sender of the campaigns you run through the platform, and you are responsible for their legal compliance — including CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, and applicable state and international laws. Specifically:
- Consent. Only message people who have given the consent required by law for that channel. SMS requires express consent; keep records of it.
- No purchased lists. Do not upload or message purchased, rented, harvested, or scraped contact lists.
- Identify yourself. Campaigns must accurately identify your business as the sender and include any legally required contact information.
- Honor opt-outs. Unsubscribe and STOP requests must be honored promptly and permanently. Do not re-add opted-out contacts.
- No deception. Subject lines and message content must not be misleading.
We monitor complaint rates and deliverability signals, and we may suspend, throttle, or terminate campaign features immediately — with or without notice — to protect recipients and the platform.
5. Reporting Violations
To report abuse of the platform (including a page, message, or QR code you believe violates this policy), email hello@repqr.com. For copyright complaints, see our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, unpublish pages, cancel print orders, pause campaigns, or suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion. Where practical we will notify you and give you a chance to fix the issue; where the violation creates legal risk or harms others, we may act first.
